Most timber moves through traders and intermediaries before it ever reaches a factory. Techle sources timber differently, directly from SVLK-certified, legally registered forest entities in Indonesia, with no middlemen involved. SVLK is Indonesia's mandatory national timber legality and sustainability verification system, recognized internationally by the EU and Australia, and it means every log we use is independently audited and fully traceable from forest to factory. The species we work with, Mahogany, Teak, Merbau, Meranti, and Bangkirai, come from forests governed by Indonesia's mandatory replanting law, making them a renewable resource, not a depleting one. The wood in your home has a verified legal identity even before it takes shape.
Once sourced, every log enters our Jepara facility and is machine-sawn to exact dimensional specifications. This isn't carpentry; it's industrial precision. Uniform thickness across every plank is the prerequisite for the modular, snap-together assembly that makes a Techle or Woodle home possible. If the wood isn't cut right at this stage, nothing downstream fits perfectly. Millimeter accuracy here is what eliminates on-site cutting, waste, and guesswork at your site.
This stage is where the wood is fundamentally transformed, not just treated. Once the pressure differential is established, protective chemical agents (SprintXone & Latex 400 EC) are driven deep into the fiber structure, penetrating up to 4 mm. High pressure is then applied to draw the excess chemical back out of the wood. This eliminates any hidden insect larvae already present and creates a permanent internal barrier against termites and wood-boring insects. A surface coating can wear off. This is impossible because the protection lives inside the wood, not on top of it.
After treatment, every batch spends 10 to 15 days in an industrial kiln. The wood's moisture content, which is 80-90%, is reduced. This controlled drying cycle brings the wood's final moisture content down to a precise 8-12%, the scientifically established range at which timber becomes dimensionally stable. Wood cracks, warps, and shrinks because of trapped or fluctuating moisture. By locking it at this level before the wood ever leaves Indonesia, we remove that variable entirely. Whether your home is in humid coastal Kerala or the dry heat of Rajasthan, the wood has already been calibrated to hold its shape.
With the wood now stabilized, fortified, and dimensionally locked, it moves into final fabrication. Each piece is precision-cut and crafted into its finished form: wall panels, flooring, doors, ceiling components, and structural frames are joined using finger joints and other precision techniques, then finished and inspected to architectural-grade specifications.
